EYE OPENER
Finally, I managed to have mini-camera handy at dawn on a chilly March morning just in time to catch the Gang of 19 (our rampant fallow deer herd) queuing up to jump into our road and create havoc with our hedges and lawns. They appear to have poor memories and every day they spend hours just before dawn trying to make up their minds how to ‘migrate’ to their next feeding station. We’ve had some hilarious moments watching them jump into the field of 6 daft-as-brushes Gotland sheep next door, only to be chased around madly by the Gang of 6. Who said rural life is peaceful?!
